Itinerary:

Hike up Hunchback Hill near Powderface Trail.
Hiking Distance is 7 km, Elevation gain is 420 m, High Point 2097m above sea level First 2.2 km is on a good trail, last 1.7 to the Hunchback south summit is off-trail following flagging tape and is somewhat steep.
I've done this hike once before.
We have the option to hike considerably further to the lower north Hunchback hill summits or to Lusk Pass.

- hiking boots or good-tread running shoes
- food and water
- layered clothing

Recommended Items to Bring:
- trekking poles, camera, sense of adventure

Drive 33 km west on Highway 1 from the Valley Ridge access. Turn on Highway 68 (Sibbald Flats road) and drive 23 km south / west. some gravel sectionsTurn left, south, on the Powderface Trail Road gravel road and go about 10 km to park beside this road.
