Aug 7: Meet at trailhead at 10:45 for an 11:00 departure. Hike approx 10km to reach Whitehorn Campground (<300m elevation gain) Aug 8: Hike approx 10km to reach Marmot Campground (~500m elevation gain) Aug 9: Hike back to Kinney Lake Campground (approx 13km) Aug 10: Hike out and return from whence we came (approx 7km) We have four tent pads reserved, as follows: - Conf # 3092013, three adults, Rhonda S - Conf # 3092015, three adults, Brent S - Conf # 3092018, two adults, Marg M - Conf # 3092021, two adults, Serge D TOTAL = 10 people (but I don't think they'd notice if we snuck in one extra). Everyone is heading up to the area on Friday night, rather than driving out early early on Saturday, as follows: - From Calgary - staying at Mt Robson Lodge - From Edmonton - camping at Wapiti - three sites for six people: -- Res# WJS0194624710I -- Res# WJS0194624510I -- Res# WJS0194624610I NOTE: Berg Lake Trail - Open fires NOT permitted. Use backpacker stoves for cooking. Wood burning stoves located in shelters at Whitehorn and Berg Lake, but are only open/available for public safety emergencies only. Trail is patrolled by BC Parks Rangers and persons starting or maintaining an open fire will be evicted. Event Directions:		From Jasper drive west for 84km on highway 16 to the Mt Robson viewpoint center. From here take the road beside the service center branching to the north and continue for 2km to the parking area. REMEMBER to stop at the info center and get your camping permits on the way.
