Testing the water and jumping into an unknown venue was adventurous and fun for me.
The BCPA Centre is a thumbs up but becoming a music critic was something I didn't take into consideration, yipes!
So........here are just some thoughts I had about The Chucky Danger Band with John MacPhee, Rob MacPhee, Colin Buchanan and David Cyrus MacDonald.

\n-sure, just another pop band but four very young, accomplished singer/songwriters.
\n-four very young, accomplished musicians playing more than just your electric guitars but acoustic guitar solos with no microphone and all four in beautiful harmony.
\n-other solos performed included a salad bowl with other instruments such as the piano, pump organ, glockenspiel, vibraphone, banjo, mandolin, slit drum with four sticks at once and a bongo solo which I have never seen done before so it was pretty cool and amazing \"for me\".
\n-Rob MacPhee has a very unique stage presence, the four look good with their english, boyish mop do's in suits, ties and runners and loving what they do.
\n-A standing ovation was a good indicator this band has something to share with the universe.
\n-2005 PEI Entertainment of the Year and the 2006 East Coast Music Award for Best New Pop Recording band.
\n-At ages twenty and under that is quite an accomplishment...I think they'll be making noise around the music scene for sometime.

\n\nWith the mtns. in the background and a nice drive out of the city to \nBragg Creek was definitely worth it \"to me\".
Thanks for coming out everyone! Hope you join me for the next event. Joni \n
