His property is clean and basic, with a well-equipped kitchenette, and the bed is quite comfortable. We loved being on the second floor with nice big windows we could open. We were on Isla at a breezy time so we got good breezes through at night to cool us down for a great sleep. The WiFi is strong and reliable, but doesn't require a password, so be cautious about using it for financial things. The apartment is above Erik's home, so it is very convenient to reach him. If he's not home, his wife often is. | ||

| Brent Stephens didn't get to do a dive on Isla Mujeres. It's been too windy for divers to go out safely. Poor Brent. We'll just have to take a do-over. Today we walked downtown to take care of a couple of errands (including finding out that there were no dives going out). Then, we hired a cab to take us all the way to the south tip-ey tip of the island to Punta Sur where we had a look at the Mayan ruin and the sculpture garden, and the spectacular scenary. Then, we walked back to town for another full day of island exploring on foot.
