Covid or no Covid, i think that early morning walks when we’re traveling may become a favorite activity. We really enjoy having places almost to ourselves and it’s nice to see sights with few or no people in them. \n
Besides our early morning walk, today was just an isolation day. I popped out to do some shopping, but otherwise we’re just hanging out. If Brent doesn’t test negative by the 10th we’re not going to be able to go on the Bike and Barge so we’ve discussed contingencies. If that happens we’ll go back to the campground at Altefähr and wait it out.

The water gate in Wismar on the waterway in the northwest of the historic city center is a port gate of the Hanseatic city in the brick Gothic style and the last surviving of the five city gates of Wismar's city fortifications.

The old port is part of the port area in Wismar Bay. It is in close proximity to the old town. With the west harbor and the water hiking rest area, the old harbor offers berths for sailing boats, fishing boats and excursion boats.
