| This was my first time ever to Elk Island Park, and it was great. We did the Amisk Wuche trail, twice - once counter-clockwise, then a break for lunch, then once clockwise. It was really the epitome of winter wonderland today - the snow and frost on everything was amazing. We didn't need snow shoes - the trail was pretty much hard-packed the whole way, although we finished up the trip with a slog across the meadow rather than staying on trail. Thanks to everyone who came out today - it was fantastic (and we're all sorry Joanne had to miss it). -- Rhonda | ||
