| This morning we walked into Bridgetown from our Airbnb, which is in Hastings (a suburb). We were able to walk almost all the way on beach until we reached a small section owned by private resorts (boo). We were looking for a store to buy a Flow (or Digicel) SIM card but ended up finding one at a random store instead. Brent had a nice chat with the clerk, encouraging her to travel. \n\n To get back ‘home’ we took a bus, and, alas, I lost my bifocal sunglasses on the bus. \n\n Now the plan is to have a coffee date with Sheila, have an afternoon nap, then head out to Oistens for some night life (or, in my case, evening life) This evening we walked down to St Lawrence Gap for dinner (at Castaway’s), including the Richard Haynes Boardwalk. It was very nice, and the meal was excellent, but very expensive. Barbados is more expensive than it used to be.
