We rode today to Merzig, following the Saar river. It was very industrial and less interesting than other places we’ve been. The Alsace portion of the EV5 is much much nicer. We are looking forward to reaching the Mosel and seeing Trier, and doing a day trip to Luxembourg city. \n\n
Along the way today, Brent found a genuine message in a bottle by the river. We got super excited to o open it and read it but it was just a scribble. What a waste of a message in a bottle!
