We went out for breakfast this morning at a place that our host recommended and visited a bakery that he recommended. They were both very nice but definitely more upscale than we are. \n\n We then went to do some walking around. Highlights were the Bellas Artes, the Ciudadela artesans market and the purple statue of Justice and The Young Woman of Amajac. \n\n Now we’re taking an afternoon siesta because all of this walking around after almost a year of hardly moving is pooping me out! After a bit of a recharge, we went back out walking. We visited Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de México, which is enormous, and even has a gift shop right in the cathedral. We then walked down Calle Emiliano Zapata, which I found really interesting - it had raised walkways on either side and (finally) some street art. We walked as far as La Santísima before turning around and having dinner and a beer on our AirBnB terrace.
