I had a follow up with the radiation oncologist today. She said everything looks good but that the rash I have in the area formerly known as my cleavage is irritation from the radiation; not boob rot as I had thought. I should have known it wasn’t boob rot though because it’s not itchy at all. She said that the skin side effects normally peak about two weeks after radiation is finished and then takes about two weeks to clear up so if I do get bad skin effects it should be cleared up by Christmas.
