I met with my surgeon again today because, although it is small, I still have this persistent seroma. The only reason it's as small as it is is because I'm wearing compression pretty much 24/7, and I don't want to have to do that forever!\n

I asked her about \"Sclerotherapy\" (a chemical agent is injected into the seroma to irritate the lining and promote healing). She said she doesn't like to use that because (1) it can cause a bad reaction, and (2) it may not even work. She suggested, instead, that she open up the seroma and \"scrape\" the inside, and then I wear compression for a while again after, which should help my skin \"adhere\" to my torso. That sounded good to me so we're going to do that. Unfortunately my surgeon is super busy these days with breast cancer surgeries so I'm going to have to wait to hear when she can do it.
