LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!

The CCC Video Awards are brought to you by ratio:marketing.

There will be other people joining us that haven't signed up on this site. These awards are the culmination of hard work by amateur teams of CCC members who just wanna be in pictures. If you are on one of teams making a video your name is already on our guest list, so no need to sign up for this event.

Come out and see what's been created!

This event is almost free - all you need to do is bring a non perishable food donation in support of local charities. A Food Donation box is located in the foyer of the Cardel Theatre where items can be dropped off before entering the event.

Because it's an event reminiscent of the Oscars, come dressed in your biggest and boldest style. Glam it up, make it as wacky as possible or show up in 80's retro (in honor of \"The Boy\"). Of course, you can always show up as your own celebrity self!

An EXCLUSIVE after-party is planned. Details will be revealed at the event.

Lights, camera, action!

\n\nJust a few weeks ago, keen CCC members got together to team up and make a video for the very first ever COC Video Awards. Tonight's event turned out to be really fun as it gave everyone the chance to see what the teams came up with.

\n\nThe crowd snacked on popcorn while watching The Abridged Urban Cowboy, Culture Lost and Found and The Alberta Song. Everyone then had the chance to vote for their favorite video before the awards began.

\n\nOutside judges picked the awards in the following categories:

\n\nBest Picture: Culture Lost and Found
\nBest Actor: Cameron Bueckert
\nBest Actress: Jo-Ann Allen
\nBest Director: Neil Speers
\nBest Original Score: Neil Speers
\nBest Newcomer: David Meisner
\nBest Virtual Bull: Ken Fung
\nBest Videographer: Neil Speers
\nBest Coaching from the Wings: Toni Guffei

\n\nThe Audience Choice was given to The Abridged Urban Cowboy

\n\nThanks to everyone who played a part, submitted a video, volunteered to help out and came out to the awards event.

We're going to do it again next year, but with more time given to get teams together. Watch for the more details in the coming months.

\n\nPhotographs are now uploaded (click on View Album)...thanks to Ken Fung (whose contribution helped to make this event a great success!)
