It was a great day...albeit hot, hot, hot and smokin' due to the forest fires and the smoke coming into Alberta. We did find there was some smoke but it increased substantially just after 1pm. We called the hike just before reaching the top. (I have to say I was relieved!) Ann kept us distracted from the smoke with her stories...otherwise I don't think we would have gotten as far as we did... :)
