Ink Pots via Moose Meadows - slow pace (View Original Event Details) Event Coordinator(s): Marg, Rhonda (Shorty) Participants: Marg, Rhonda (Shorty), Brent S, David, Ann N, Tim T, Lynn, Randy J, Judy T, Margie, Dana K, Stephanie C Write Up: 11km and 220m elev gain seems innocent enough for a snowshoe. We figure information is missing in all the descriptions .... the part where it feels more like about ~300+m elev gain, then ~100m elev loss, then ~100m elev gain, and ~300+m elev loss. Someday when I figure out how to do it, I'll record the trip on a gps and take a closer look at the total amt of loss/gain. Still, I like this hike very much in winter. For my pace, plan on spending about 6 hrs to include time for photos and enjoying the ink pots. ~Marg Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
