Itinerary:
Cabin-camping at Western Wilderness Adventures. More photos and info available at their facebook profile page.
NOTE: Your coordinators have never been to Western Wilderness Adventures before so we're figuring it out as we go based on info from their website, fb page and limited emails. These are rustic cabins heated by wood stoves and have no running water, so will be similar to winter camping except in cabins. Bring along lots of warm bedding as I've not been told if they supply anything.

Cabin details: Bunkhouse for $25/person/night for up to 12 people. A deluxe cabin available for $80/night (sleeps 2), family cabin for $80/night (sleeps 2 adults, 2 kids), and 2 standard cabins for $50/night(sleep 2 in each). Please let Marg know which type of accommodation you prefer so I can confirm details.

Firewood is provided free of charge & firepits available. BBQ's are available. Bring along your camp stove as well.
A cookhouse is available although I'm told they rarely offer it out to rent. He said they are willing to rent it to us for $50 per day if it's too cold to cook outside and must be cleaned after each use. If this is something we'd like to make use of then we all can pitch in extra for that. The cost would work out to be about $5 each per day which is certainly reasonable.

Drinking water is available.

The Saloon is available for us to hang out, socialize, and play cards. BYOB. I do not know what is provided for lights. Probably nothing, so bring along headlamps, flashlights, lanterns, or candles .... something to light your way :-)

Hikes: Plans are to hike Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. Most are heading back home Sunday morning.

Required Items to Bring:
- warm sleeping bags, pads and extra blankets
- headlamps, flashlights, extra batteries, lantern if you have one ... something to light your way as it gets dark early and I do not know how much lighting is provided
- lots of warm layered clothing for hiking and evenings, camp booties if you have them
- camping gear, pots, food, camp stove, you know .... all the usual. Not much is provided so bring everything you need for the weekend.
- warm and cold beverages of your preference
Recommended Items to Bring:
- cards, board games
- snacks to share
- candles

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take Highway 11 going west from Red Deer to Rocky Mountain House. Continue on Highway 11 going west out of Rocky to about 20 km west of Nordegg. We are on the right side of the highway. They are right before Crescent Falls road so if you see that sign you have gone too far. Map
